The third album by Sergey Pakhomov on this netlabel has turned out to be yet another breathtaking exercise in capturing sounds which balance between menace and meditation. Here this has been achieved by recording a thunderstorm which broke loose over his hometown on the first of July this year. There seems to be an interplay between the roaring thunder and the falling rain; each taking turns in being the dominating force of the storm, as well as holding back for the other force to demonstrate its power. Room to breathe, room to suffocate...
